Refund Policy
Media4YouIOW Returns & Refunds policy:
You are entitled to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so, however this right ends once your physical item has been processed or dispatched to you. Once your item has been processed or dispatched, you are no longer entitled to a refund or cancellation. Once you have received the item(s), you can then request to return the item for a refund, however this is subject to individual scenarios. Any digital purchases cannot be cancelled or refunded as they are available to you immediately after purchase.
The deadline for cancelling an order is 14 days from the date you made the order online or once the item has been processed or shipped to your address. The deadline for requesting a refund is 14 days from the date you received the goods physically, of which will be recorded by us due to the order tracking.
In order to exercise your right of cancellation or refund, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement.
You can inform us of your decision by e-mail at "media4you.iow@gmail.com" with an appropriate header and message body, any aggression, hate speech or threats will be met with your email being blocked from our system, any requested denied and if applicable, your details being reported to a relevant authority.
If entitled to a refund we will reimburse you no later than 30 days from the day on which we or our third party fulfilment centres receive the returned goods, however this may take longer for your bank to process your incoming payment. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order (although we may ask you to clarify what this is as we don't typically hold card information), and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement (unless you are living outside of the UK and using a currency other than £). You also have the option of having your refund issued to you via an E-Gift card for our shop.
We do not manufacture, fulfil or post any physical items, therefore if there is any issues with an order that you have made or received we can only act as a 'middle man' between yourself and our third party companies that we use to fulfil your order. These companies will have their own timeframes, procedures and rules for refunds and returns and as you're ordering directly from them through our website, it is completely down to them if they will accept a refund or return. We use multiple third party companies for fulfilment of both physical and digital goods and therefore each have their own T&Cs that change constantly, below you will see a rough breakdown for conditions as a guide for any future issues that you may face.
Conditions for returns:
In order for the goods to be eligible for a return & refund, please make sure that:
The goods were purchased within the last 14 days
The goods are in the original packaging and in the same condition they arrived in
The label or sticker or seal is still attached to the item
That you have purchased a physical item and not an digital item or online service
Clear evidence of any damage or issues via unedited photo's or videos
The item must be returned to the third party manufacturer before a refund can be considered & processed.
The following goods cannot be returned:
The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized to your needs.
The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, for example goods which deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
Any digital item, online service or subscriptions
We reserve the right to refuse returns & refunds of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion. Likewise our third party fulfilment companies reserve the right to refuse returns and refunds based on their T&Cs.
Returning Goods:
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. If you have kept the original packaging, depending on the item, our third party fulfilment companies may issue you a pre-paid return label or issue you a refund without the need of physically returning the item. They may also give you the option of simply replacing the item, however this is at their sole discretion.
We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in shipment or return shipment. Therefore, we recommend using an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the physical goods or proof of received return delivery.
If an item was damaged during shipment to you, we will attempt to seek reimbursement from the courier, and try to replace the item, however this may take time.
